2. Data we process

• Registration data: email and, optionally, name and phone number.
• Identity data from sign-in providers (Apple, Google) if you use them to log in.
• Location and trip data (GPS) when you use mobility features, with your permission.
• Service usage data and technical device data.

3. Purposes and legal basis

• Provide the Service and manage your account — performance of the contract.
• Compute trips, points and rewards — performance of the contract.
• Send you service communications and, if you opt in, waitlist updates — consent.
• Security, fraud prevention and product improvement — legitimate interest.
• Compliance with legal obligations.

4. Retention

We keep your data while your account is active and, after closure, for the periods legally required to handle liabilities. It is then deleted or anonymized.

5. Recipients and processors

We work with providers that process data on our behalf, including: Amazon Web Services (hosting and infrastructure, EU), Resend (email delivery) and map and authentication providers. We do not sell your data.

6. International transfers

We prioritize processing within the EU. If a provider involves transfers outside the European Economic Area, they are carried out with appropriate safeguards (e.g. the European Commission’s standard contractual clauses).

7. Your rights

You can exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, objection, restriction and portability by writing to privacy@newtonapp.io. You may also lodge a complaint with the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) or your relevant supervisory authority.

8. Account and data deletion

You can delete your account and data at any time from within the app or by email request. See the "Delete account" page for the detailed procedure.

9. Cookies and similar technologies

This site uses only the technical cookies required for it to work. If we add analytics or measurement in the future, we will inform you and obtain your consent where applicable.

We may update this policy. The current version will be published on this page along with its update date.
